Hi All,
This is an example for how to use the Reem Content Templating component/plugin.
1- After installing the component and the plugin, you must publish the plugin and set its order to be in the first place among the your installed plugins. This can be done by explicitly setting the order column for the plugin to -10000, for example, to make it the first content plugin to be executed.
2-Go to the Reem Content Templating to create a new template, simply click the New button to create a new template.
3- You will need to provide a descriptive name for the template, for example, you will create a template to be applied to all the contents of a specific section, say its the 'News' section, then name the template as 'News section template'.
4- We assumed that our template will be applied to the 'News', so we must select yes for the "Template related to specific entities?" dropdown list. After selecting yes, all the other select lists will be active, I mean Sections, Categories and Content Items.
5- You can select any combination as you need, in the previous step we assumed that our template will be applied to the 'News' section, so we must select the 'News' from the Sections select list.
Note:-
You can select any section/category/content item combination, at last the template will be applied to the union of your selected combination.
To be continued...

Post edited by: mmmaug1977, at: 2008/07/14 22:05
