I would like to buy your extension, but before I need to know something first:
1. Is it possible to use your extension with SW tabs and to show different extra field groups in different tabs?
2. If yes, what will happen, if lets say G1 (location information like city, state and so on) extra field group will be assigned to two categories C1 and C2 and There will be one article which will be assigned to both C1 and C2 category? Will be there extra field group shown twice, or just once?
3. Is there also another option like SW tabs which can show extra field groups in tabs?
1- Just to let you know that MEFG is not responsible for changing the layout in the item view page, its main feature is to allow assigning multiple extra field group to a category and in the item edit form, then you can display the fields any way you like.
2- In K2, the article belongs to only one category, and each category can use only one extra field group.
After installing and configuring MEFG, you will be able to assign more than one extra field group to a category.
3- Any layout works with core K2 will work with MEFG, simply MEFG is not changing the layout of the extra fields in the item view page, but it does in the item edit form, where there are 3 layouts available and can be configured in the plugin: Tabs, Accordion and Flat.
