Extra Fields not Working in Meta Description was created by chris@theyoungfamily.us
I just purchased and installed the AutoMeta for k2 module.
It is displaying fields like {title} and {category} in my meta descriptions properly.
Extra fields are NOT displaying.
The module is converting {ef_Year} into a blank space in the meta description tag.
What is wrong? I am using Joomla 2.5.8

Hi,
Please let me know your K2 version.
Also if you find any php errors let me know.
To enable error displaying, login to the backend, go to Global Configuration, then Server tab, select Development from the Error Reporting options.

My version of k2 is 2.6.2.
There were no PHP errors, just strict variable reference warning messages about parameters in other modules like menus.

PROBLEM SOLVED
I updated K2 and it works now.
Is there a module that I can use to manually set the meta title for my k2 items independently of the k2 item name?
My install is using the item name as the meta title.
Thanks.

Hello Chris
Thanks for letting me know that the problem is solved, I think you were using and old K2 version.
For the met title override, I will try to add it to a new version of AutoMeta for K2
